Learn all about our pasture-raised broiler chickens (meat) operation at Forrest Green Farm. Spend the day with Rob as he shows you his broiler chicken setups. Move the chickens in the pasture, process chickens, and ask any questions you might have about raising pasture poultry. You will take home a chicken you helped process!
This is not a farm tour. This is an intensive class with the goal of teaching you all about how to raise pasture broilers successfully. We will also briefly cover pasture-raised turkeys. This class is ideal for homesteaders, backyard chicken raising, or someone who wants to start or scale up a chicken farming business.
