Regenerative Agriculture & Grass Fed Cattle 101 Class
June 25 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Here at Forrest Green Farm, we use the terms “Regenerative Agriculture” and “Beyond Organic” to describe our farming practices. We want to improve our land, not harm it. Regenerative Agriculture is farming and grazing practices that can help reverse climate change by rebuilding soil, and organic matter and restoring degraded soil biodiversity – resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle. While we are not certified organic, we have standards that we consider to be beyond organic. We do not use any pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, GMOs, synthetic fertilizers, or fillers for our animals, farmland, or plants.
Regenerative agriculture = holistic land management
Rob has been managing the land and pastures at Forrest Green Farm for 30 years. He believes the land is important to the health of everything; animals, people, and the planet. He works with the natural cycles of nature to help the farm thrive. Come walk the fields to see how this approach makes a difference, and learn about raising grass-fed & finished cattle and regenerative agriculture.
